Newborn Care

Redbud Pediatrics pediatricians have specialized experience in newborn care, including the unique needs of premature infants, and are here to provide guidance and reassurance from day one. We also offer breastfeeding support to new mothers.

Acute Care for Sickness or Injury

Redbud Pediatrics offers same-day acute care for sick and injured children, including lacerations and sutures, minor procedures, falls, athletic injuries, concussions, and more — all in a familiar, trusted environment.

For your convenience, we offer weekday walk-in hours Monday through Friday from 8:00–9:00 AM, as well as same-day Saturday appointments from 8:00–11:30 AM. When your child needs to be seen, we are here.

Well Child Care

Redbud Pediatrics provides comprehensive well child care from birth through adolescence, including immunizations, vision and hearing screenings, developmental and behavioral assessments, and daycare, school and sports physicals. We follow the schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics to ensure your child is growing, developing, and thriving at every stage.

• Babies & Toddlers (Birth – 3 Years)
  Well-child visits are scheduled at 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 24, 30, and 36 months.
• School-Age Children (3-12 Years)
  Annual well-child visits are recommended once per year.

Immunizations

Redbud Pediatrics provides immunizations, including all childhood vaccines and travel vaccine advice. We believe that providing immunizations for our patients may be the single most important health-promoting care we provide. Immunizations are most effective when the entire community participates.

We fully support the childhood immunization schedule established by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and we require our patients to receive their immunizations according to the AAP immunization schedule or an alternative that is discussed and agreed upon by the childs caregiver and pediatrician.

Redbud Pediatrics participates in the Kansas Vaccines for Children (VFC) program, which provides no-cost immunizations to uninsured children or children with Kancare insurance coverage.

Medical and Behavioral Complexities

Redbud Pediatrics provides primary care for children with special needs, including autism spectrum disorder and medically complex conditions, as well as dedicated care for foster children.

Redbud Pediatrics specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and other behavioral concerns.  All of our clinicians have completed additional training through the REACH Institute, equipping them with evidence-based tools to support your child and your family.

Asthma and Allergy Management

Redbud Pediatrics provides ongoing asthma and allergy management in coordination with trusted pediatric allergists, ensuring your child receives comprehensive, well-coordinated care. Please bring your child’s medication bottles, inhalers, and peak flow devices to each appointment so we can best support their treatment plan.
